Hannah Salyer

Hannah is an illustrator and storyteller based in Brooklyn. Narratives that feel truest to her emerge from the act of looking to other species and life forms to tell us more about ourselves. Hannah lives with her polydactyl cat, Kermit (who tries very hard to help around the studio, but usually ends up knocking over paint water), and spends most of her time making tiny creatures out of clay and working on her illustrations. Hannah graduated with a BFA in illustration from Pratt Institute in 2017. Her work has been recognized by American Illustration and has appeared in publications like The New York Times, Scientific American, and The Regeneration Magazine.
