Andrew Joyner

Andrew Joyner is the #1 New York Times Bestselling illustrator of DR. SEUSS'S THE HORSE MUSEUM, a never-before-published Dr. Seuss non-fiction book about creating and looking at art. Throughout his career, Andrew has illustrated more than 30 children's books—several bestsellers and backlisted favorites—that have been published in more than 25 countries. In 2017, Andrew's authorial picture book debut, THE PINK HAT, was published. As per The Washington Post, “This simple and cheerful tale suggests, with not an ounce of preachiness, values of care and comfort and the support women have for each other across generations.” Andrew has since written STAND UP! SPEAK UP! A STORY INSPIRED BY THE CLIMATE CHANGE REVOLUTION, an uplifting and timely story for young children about activism, community, and hope. In a starred review, School Library Journal called STAND UP! SPEAK UP! "highly recommended, this book could change lives and maybe the world." Andrew's next picture book, LOVE WAS INSIDE, was written to help young children remember, process, and resolve the feelings they had during the pandemic. Coming in October 2021, it Includes prompts to encourage readers to write their own inside stories. Andrew lives with his family in South Australia.
