Joey Chou

Joey Chou was born in Taiwan and moved to sunny California in his early teens where he still lives today. He works by day as a visual development artist on feature animated films and by night as a picture book illustrator. Joey is the creator of several format-driven and novelty series, including Nosy Crow's MAKE AND PLAY series (8 titles) and Scholastic's TEENY TINY series (4 titles). His 12 LUCKY ANIMALS board book is an Amazon bestseller and ranked #1 in their 'Children's Chinese Language Books' category. Joey has illustrated six Little Golden Books authored by Mallory Loehr; I'M A UNICORN has sold more than 635,000 copies to date. Recently Joey illustrated Zolotow Honor award-winning author Jean Reidy's WHAT WOULD YOU DO IN A BOOK ABOUT YOU?
