Korwin Briggs

Korwin Briggs is a New York-based author and illustrator known for his clever, vibrant, and humorous artwork. Drawing influence from classic Tintin comics and mid-20th century advertising, his predominantly digital style is enhanced with scanned watercolor textures and expressive scribbles.

Korwin’s favorite projects to work on are those that let him dig into how things works and history—like his 300-page world mythology encyclopedia, Gods and Heroes—and he has a gift for making sophisticated ideas accessible to children. He's equally delighted by anything that calls for chickens or poop.

Beyond his books, Korwin enjoys playing board games and guitar, partaking in bar trivia, and co-hosting his retro video games podcast, Old Game Boys.
