Roberto Prual Reavis creates drawings, illustrations, and animation movies. He is greatly influenced by the artwork found in The New Yorker magazine. He makes children's books (Gallimard; Didier Jeunesse), newspapers (Le Monde; L'Oeuil), short films (Arte; France O), advertising (Veuve Cliquot; Sony), and he collaborates with contemporary artists and designers (Philippe Parreno; Gaetano Pesce). To date, Roberto has written and illustrated six children's book for the French marketplace. 'Le Miroir D'Henri' won the 2018 Prize des Librairies Folies D'Encre award. He is inspired by the works of Maurice Sendak, and his own classical style harkens back to some of kidlit's greats including Ronald Searle and Arnold Lobel.
