Jeff Drew is an illustrator based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who describes his style as retro and maximalist. His richly illustrated work, inspired by mid-century aesthetics, captivates a diverse audience—from young readers to adults—with its dense, intricate, and highly engaging visual storytelling. Critics praise Jeff’s art as inventive, adventurous, educational, and endlessly inviting, encouraging repeated exploration.

A lifelong fan of bending and stretching reality, Jeff uses Photoshop to craft his signature collages, packing each illustration with hundreds of detailed items. Jeff’s debut picture book, Alfie Explores A to Z: A Seek and Find Adventure, was a decade in the making, and he is now finishing a second book in the Alfie series. Jeff is also eager to collaborate with other authors on stories that explore science fiction and fantasy themes, where his playful yet intricate style can bring their imaginative worlds to life.

When not illustrating in the company of his four dogs, Jeff enjoys making music and woodworking.
