Luciano Lozano

By skillfully blending digital techniques with traditional drawing methods, Barcelona-based illustrator and author Luciano Lozano creates artwork that reflects a vibrant sense of color and texture. Before embarking on his career as a children’s book illustrator, Luciano spent several years working in the tourism business. He now has more than 20 books to his name and takes pride in never having missed a publishing deadline. His work has earned prestigious awards, including the Junceda Award for Best International Book, the El Dragon Lector Award for Best Illustrator, and multiple shortlistings for notable prizes such as the Andersen Prize and Fundacion Cuatrogatos Award. When not working, Luciano enjoys immersing himself in reading, music, nurturing plants, and cooking macrobiotic meals.
